The Guerlain Les Tendrescollection has been released in Dubai and I’m sure many of you would have had a good look at the products. This spring, Guerlain has kept the theme pretty focused on perfecting that rosy glow or the natural radiance that many would die to achieve.
You could instantly see this soft-change from the baby pink packaging and in product swatches as well.
Let’s straight way head to the product* reviews to see which one should you not miss this season.
Météorites Perles de Blush Éclat Angélique (LE)
Is truly celestial in my opinion. The size of the product, packaging and the quality is outstanding. For the first time, Guerlain has released a plastic cardboard packaging compared to the usual metal tin concept they’ve had for years. Is this a downgrade? I find this super pretty (with the angel embossing), convenient to handle when applying makeup and light weight for traveling. However, quality of the product has not let us down because this blush is amazin-g.
The bright pink hue has a hint of shimmer that is pigmented yet very subtle when you apply. It is one of the prettiest pink blushes I own and I don’t think I ever stop wearing it. But not sure if the color might show up on dark skin tones. I can’t say the same for medium skins because it is extremely pretty.
Météorites Compact – Light-Revealing Power in #2 (Light)
Is a finishing powder. This new permanent product is the pressed compact version of the loose meteorites pearls (released previous seasons) and comes in a sturdy metal package. The newbie is brilliant purely because of the formula and 3 shades (light, medium & golden) releases to match every skin tone.
Shade #2 (Light) contains 5 different colors. Purple, green, peach and shimmery beige/off white will be correcting the skin tone and faint pearly white will offer luminosity. Powder formula is finely milled and it is barely visible post application. Though the shade is way too light to be used as a finishing powder on my tanned skin, this does an equally great job as a highlighter too.
Météorites Baby Glow Light Revealing Sheer Makeup SPF25 in #3 Medium –
Is more like a dewy BB crème (than a foundation) with low-to- medium coverage. This is specifically created to accomplish the anti-fatigue effect but not the ideal product for acne/scar prone skin from a coverage aspect. Satin matte finish was a total game-changer! I thought Baby Glow would offer a dewy finish to oomph the glow-y effect but not! However, for the very first time Guerlain product has let me down due to over-fragrance issue. Scent was lovely but I thought it was slightly over-done. Shade assortment was amiss because shade #3 (medium) is far too lighter for my skin tone. Therefore, swatching is must before buying this.
