March is swiftly flying by and before it ends here are my beauty favorites. Not only they were my preferred but best performed products out of ‘tried and tested’.

First up is…
*Laura Mercier Infusion de Rose Nourishing Crème – This was my morning moisturizer throughout March. Simply put, it’s a basic, hassle free, lightly rose scented day cream that provides a aplenty of nourishment and moisture without clogging pores. Whipped consistency was something unusual which you’ll get used to after a day or so. Bottom line, I really loved using this in the mornings because the light rose scent helps to wake up the skin and left dewy, plumped and non greasy. Also, it worked as a good base for makeup.I prefer using non fussy moisturizer for mornings and this does the job!
DiorSkin Nude Air Serum Foundation in #40 (AED 252) is absolutely Holy Moly to me. I’ve always been a ‘tinted moisturizer girl’ unless I have something horrible to cover. So for me to fall in love with a foundation and to wear it every single day – it has to be bloody good. And this is! Foundation is perfect on so many levels– shade (thank god! #40 is exact match), watery & fast drying texture, lightweight feel, matte-dewy finish, my skin-but-million times-better kind of feeling because of barely distinct coverage, and the natural yet glow-y effect. Longevity wise, it lasts 7 hours on my combination skin and only had to powder my ever-shiny t-zone just twice. Also the number of compliments I’ve received when wearing this foundation – seals the deal.
Makeup Forever STEP 1 – Mattifying primer (AED 158) – is one of the 11 primers released by the brand recently. This is by far the best mattifying primer I’ve ever come across that actually works and long lasting. Invisible & solid texture works doubly hard to instantly reduce the shine. I tested this under Dior Nude Air foundation on my t-zone. Guess what? It kept the oiliest part of my face shine-free for more than 10 hours. Also it performed well as a eye shadow base. This brilliant primer is must have for oily skins and for every makeup artist.
*Guerlain La Petite Robe Noire Eau Fraîche Perfume – If I could ‘high five’ Thierry Wasser for creating this incredible spring (and summery) fragrance that is glamorous and long lasting – I certainly will. This remix version of the original La Petite Robe Noire, is light hearted, refreshing & musky and more of “good-girl wants to have some fun’ kind of perfume. Oddly enough, I’ve been wearing it for work throughout the month – and love it! The bergamot, mandarin & patchouli are my ultimate combination of enticement & mega boost of confidence. Enough Said.
*Chantecaille Pure Rosewater Toner – is an expensive edition of a toner consist rose & rose-hip water. Even though you might find cheaper alternatives I bet, you’d find a spray nozzle that distributes the precise amount of product as this one. It is the best I’ve come across and no wastage of product what so ever. After cleansing, I spray good sum of rosewater on the face and then dab off with a cotton pad. It’s perfect prep before my PM Skincare routine. Considering the hydrating properties, this is best for dry skins and a product that suits summer.
