I believe NARS x Christopher Kane collection to be the the most anticipated releases this year for the brand. Collaborations as this, continues to strive NARS being ‘bold & beautiful’!
Let’s head for the reviews of each of the product:
Silent Nude Blush: is a beautiful matte nude (more on the dusky beige side) blush. Unfortunately, this doesn’t show up on my medium skin but performed okay as an eye shadow. I really like this shade though there are many dupes available. For the fairer skin tones, this is a must have blush for soft contouring.
Starscape blush – is a neon pink. Super pigmented, matte, soft and long wearing (7+ hours) similar to many other NARS blushes. This reminded me of Mac Pink Swoon. Due to high pigmented light application is recommended.
Outer Limits Single eye shadow – metallic rose gold with shimmer particles. Looks utterly beautiful in the pan but, not so much on the eyes. Fallout is the major issue and even after patting the product into eyelids it wasn’t staying put on top of the primer. I thought it was in vain.
Lip glosses: Wasn’t surprised by the bold colors. They look very-much NARS but more natural and subtle when worn. All glosses are non sticky, non-drying but wished if they had more pigment -especially Nebulous because it is universally flattering.
NARS Glow Pink – is a pretty magenta. Complete beauty on its own. Good stain powder.NARS Mezmer – is the bright pink. Stain power is crazy. Glossiness was intact from 7-11am. After I had lunch it settled for beautiful stain that stayed till 4pm. NARS Nebulous – Love it. Not the best when it came to staining. NARS Nucleus – Least favorite. Too pale on my skin.
Collection is available at Sephora Dubai Mall & MOE.
