There are hundreds of hand creams in the market, so how do you know which ones are best?
Well apart from the cult favorite Clarins Hand and Nail Treatment Cream a longstanding favorite of mine – with good reason I wanted to explore the under-rated hand creams which are just as good as Clarins.
La Mer ‘The Hand Treatment’: This is for medium-very dry hands. Non greasy and the balm like texture is very lightweight. A little does go a long way. Let’s just say it is the most expensive hand cream I’ve own.
Bliss High Intensity Hand Cream: is the hard worker which will hydrate your hands all day long. It may feel a little rich at first but bear with it. Because as quickly as this beautiful cream hydrates the driest of Sahara skin. A favorite of mine and this is a cult cream in the making.
Rodin Crema Olio Lusso – With its signature mix of essential oils marked by jasmine and neroli for supple skin and signature scent and its silky feel, RODIN CREMA delivers luxurious smoothness for the hands and body. A lightweight cream that is AHA-MAZING.
Caudalie Hand & Nail cream: It has that classic Caudalie expensive grape smell, with a little orange twist added in. What I love most about this cream is so moisturizing but not sticky or greasy. It sinks right in to my hands and cuticles and makes them smooth and soft.
Diptyque Rose Hand Cream – is rosy, non-cloying, spring-y scent and perfect for soften dry, winter-ravaged skin.
Bath & Body Works – (True blue spa) Super Softening Hand Lotion – This isn’t just a hand cream – it is an intense treatment for hands. It leaves hands looking, as well as feeling, a lot better within seconds. Smells slightly citrus-y like orange and lime zest, but it’s not overpowering, refreshing just way I like it.
Crabtree & Evelyn hand therapies– I love anything C&B and especially their hand lotion collection. They are thick, creamy and yet easily absorbed. After a minute or two your hands are beautifully moisturized BUT the cream sinks in fast and does not leave your hands feeling greasy. What more could you ask for?
