Weekend Roundup : Beauty Haul

Since I started off my maternity leave, I’ve been heavily addicted to online shopping. This could be that I have more time on hand to scroll through all the new launches and product arrivals of each retail website that I have bookmarked! I started off the beauty splurge wing-ding with my favorite – net-a-porter and the weekend spent playing around with goodies that came in the black-box. Here’s a quick the run-down of the haul bits.

I’ve been absolutely obsessed with By Terry Sun Designer Palettes for Spring.  After seeing all the pretty photos on Instagram and reading raving reviews I went for the Tan and Flash Cruise Palette considering my medium skin tone. For fairer skins, Light & Tan Vibes would be the perfect choice.

Honestly, I really don’t regret spending GBP 54/- on this face palette. It was not an absolute must-have but I just couldn’t pass up as I was totally jazzed about it. Tan and Flash Cruise Palette is simply gorgeous and very versatile. It is also the.most.prettiest palette I own in the entire stash. And yes I’m manning up to use this unlike my most untouched highlighters, compacts and bronzers with equally pretty embossing.By Terry Sun Designer Palettes for Spring - Tan and Flash CruiseWhat I really like about Tan and Flash Cruise Palette  is that, you get to play with 6 shades in total.  3 blushes,  a bronzer, contour and a highlighting shade. All are in matte texture. Also, I’m happy with the size of the palette apart from the gorgeous shades. It’s not too heavy or bulky and very much travel-friendly. I could see myself carrying it during holidays and reaching for it more often than my single bronzers & blushes. If you are looking for a complete review, I like what Sabrina from The Beauty Look Book has to say. See the blog post here. By Terry Sun Designer Palettes now available at Net-a-porter, Cult Beauty and Beautylish.

Charlotte Tilbury The IngénueI have been thoroughly impressed with Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution and the mini lipstick trio from my past purchases and excited to explore more on the makeup considering my victorious attempts. For starters, out of  10 signature looks I thought of picking up The Ingénue, the one that is fresh, everyday look, easy to re-create. You get to trial 7 full-sized products along with a complimentary makeup bag printed with the fabulous lip prints. Since I’ve not given everything a true road test yet, can’t comment on any favourites.

Su-Man Skin Care Essential Discovery CollectionSince no beauty haul completed without some lush skin care, I lastly added Su-Man Skin Care Essential Discovery Collection to the cart. I’ve wanted to try the famed celebrity facialist Su-Man ‘s products for a while now. Glad that I ordered the introductory kit that houses 3 signature products from the well-edited range. I’ve already started using Purifying Cleansing Gel-Oil in the evenings, the Coffee-enriched Exfoliating Facial Polish as the weekly exfoliator and her potent Velvet Skin Brightening Serum under Kate Somerville Nourish Daily moisturizer. I’ll have the complete reviews of each in the upcoming weeks as I work my way through testing. First impressions are that I’m already liking  Purifying Cleansing Gel-Oil & Exfoliating Facial Polish. Also love the gel-serum texture of Velvet Skin Brightening Serum and it’s glides on like silk. Hope it’ll lighten my pigmented skin.

Have you tried any of the products above?

Stay tuned for next week’s, beauty roundup on currently testing.
